Zach Parise and Ryan Suter, two of the most coveted free agents in NHL history, were introduced to the State of Hockey this summer.
They looked good in green.
Both jerseys were unveiled to the players in front of the entire Wild organization along with local and national media. Both also revealed the signature "A," indicating Parise and Suter will serve the Wild as assistant captains.
The newly signed free agents expressed how badly they wanted to play together in Minnesota.
"Minnesota is where we wanted to be," Suter said.
"I knew I wanted to play at home, and I knew I wanted to finish my career at home. There wasn't any hesitation at all," Parise said.
It appears a new sellout streak will debut this fall.
